While I completely agree with the sentiment of the video, and have posted it to my blog (thanks for the link) this is not machinima. The video is stop motion animation and video stills. Machinima is made from computer game engines with audio dubbed in later. In the words of the great Wikipedia:
“rendering of computer-generated imagery (CGI) using real-time, interactive (game) 3D engines”
